Changelog: Track indexing status over time

Learn how to use the Changelog in IndexCheckr to view timestamped status changes for every page in your project.

Updated over a month ago

The Changelog shows the full history of status changes for all pages within a project. Each entry records what changed, when it changed, and for which URL. This helps you monitor indexing progress over time and identify trends or issues.

Each row in the changelog includes:

  • Timestamp: when the status change occurred

  • Page URL

  • Previous status

  • New status

When a page is first added to a project, its initial entry will show a transition from Scheduled to its first detected status after the check. This allows you to trace every change from the moment a page enters the system.

At the top of the changelog, you'll find:

  • A quick search field to filter by URL

  • A status filter to narrow results by current status

There’s also an Export to CSV button to download the changelog for reporting or archival purposes.
