How do credits work in IndexCheckr?
One credit equals one page check. This applies to both manual checks and automatic rechecks. If you schedule a page to be checked at regular intervals, each check will use one credit. If you run out of credits, all checking activity stops until you top up. There are no usage limits or quotas, just a simple, pay-per-check system.
Do credits expire?
No. Credits never expire and remain available until used.
Can I see how many credits Iβve used?
Yes. The Usage Report shows a breakdown of credit consumption by project and recheck frequency.
What happens if I recheck all pages?
All pages in the project will be checked, using one credit per page, even if a page was recently checked.
Can I recheck only non-indexed pages?
Yes. You can recheck only the non-indexed pages from both the Project Overview and Pages Report to optimize credit use.
π‘ Indexing checks
Why does it take time to check my pages?
We scrape Google to detect indexing. Since Google tries to block scraping, we use many proxies and pace requests carefully. This protects your checks from being blocked, but it also means it can take time, especially for large projects.
The tool says the page is not indexed, but it is. Why?
We perform two separate checks per page to minimize false negatives. However, Google operates multiple datacenters, which may not always be synchronized. A page might be indexed in one datacenter but not another. These mismatches are rare and usually temporary.
Can I stop automatic rechecks once a page is indexed?
Yes. If you enable Stop when indexed, IndexCheckr will no longer recheck a page once it's confirmed as indexed.
π΅ Indexer integration
Do I need separate credits to use the indexers?
Yes. IndexCheckr credits are only for checking index status. You need to buy separate credits from each indexer service you use.
The indexer I use is not listed. What can I do?
IndexCheckr currently supports Index Me Now, Omega Indexer, Speedlinks, Links Indexer, and Rapid URL Indexer. If your indexer is not listed, contact support@indexcheckr.com to request integration.
Can I use IndexCheckr without connecting to an indexer?
Yes. IndexCheckr works independently for checking indexing status. Indexer integration is optional and only needed if you want to actively request indexing.

Do I need to add pages manually?
No. You can bulk upload via CSV or import from an XML sitemap (see Setting up your first project and Adding pages).
Can I test the tool with just a few pages?
Yes. You can start with a single project and just one or two pages to see how the tool works.
π£ Payment and invoices
How do I add my VAT number?
Click on the "Enter VAT ID" link on the first screen of the checkout process.
How do I access my invoices?
Click on the Invoices link in the main menu to the left, then click on the PDF icon next to the invoice you want to open. A copy of each invoice is also sent to your email.
Do you offer larger credit packages?
Yes. For larger custom packages, contact us at support@indexcheckr.com or use the chat widget inside the app.
