Quick Check lets you check whether a list of URLs is indexed by Google without creating a project first. It is the fastest way to answer a one-off question like "are these backlinks indexed?" or "did Google pick up the pages we published last week?"
Quick Check is in the left-hand menu, just below Projects.
Running a check
Paste your URLs into the Paste the URLs you want to check field, one per line. You can check up to 1,000 URLs per batch.
As you paste, IndexCheckr counts how many URLs are valid, duplicate or invalid. A URL must start with
http://orhttps://to be valid. Duplicates are removed and are not charged.Check the cost line (This will use N credits) and your balance, then click Check URLs.
While the check runs, a progress bar shows how many URLs have been checked. The page updates automatically, and you can leave and come back: reloading the page picks up where it left off.
đĄ Note: If you run out of credits during a check, it pauses and shows how many URLs are still pending. Buy credits and the check resumes.
Credits
Each unique, valid URL costs one credit, the same as a check in a project.
The credit is only taken when a URL gets its result. If a URL can't be checked and ends up as N/A, you are not charged for it.
Results
When the check is done, you see how many URLs got each status, followed by a table of URLs and their status:
Page Indexed: the URL was found in Google's index
Page not indexed: the URL was not found, but its site is in Google
Domain not indexed: neither the URL nor anything else on its root domain was found in Google
N/A: the check could not be completed (no credit charged)
From the results screen you can:
Export CSV: download the URLs, their index status, where the check came from and the date
Add to project: keep tracking some or all of the URLs in a project (see below)
New check: start another batch
Adding results to a project
Quick Check results are a one-off snapshot: they are not rechecked and do not appear in a changelog. To keep monitoring some of the URLs, click Add to project:
Under Statuses to add, choose which results to add. Page not indexed and Domain not indexed are selected by default.
Choose an existing project, or create a new project by entering its name.
Optionally set a recheck period, turn on Stop checking when pages get indexed, and ask to be notified by email when the pages are checked.
Click Add pages.
Pages that already have a result are added with that result, so you are not charged again. Pages that ended as N/A are checked when they are added, at one credit each. URLs already in the project are skipped.
Recent checks
Below the input field, Recent checks lists your 20 latest batches with their date, number of URLs, progress and source. The source is Web for checks run here, or Chrome extension for bulk, link and sitemap checks run from the IndexCheckr Chrome extension. Click View to open a batch again.
đĄ Note: Quick Check results are kept for 30 days, then deleted automatically. Export them or add them to a project if you need to keep them.
