Automatic rechecks and email notifications

Automatic rechecks and email notifications let you track indexing changes efficiently.

Updated this week

IndexCheckr can automatically recheck your pages and notify you by email when changes are detected. These features help you monitor indexing status without manual effort.

Automatic rechecks

When adding pages—manually, via CSV, or from a sitemap—you can set a recheck frequency:

  • None

  • Daily

  • Weekly

  • Biweekly

  • Monthly

Configure recheck period when adding new pages

Each recheck consumes one credit per page. Rechecks continue until you disable them, run out of credits, or the Stop when indexed option is enabled. Stop when indexed ensures that once a page is confirmed as indexed, it will no longer be rechecked.

Email notifications

In the Settings section, you can configure email notifications about indexing status changes. You can choose both the frequency and the trigger condition.

  • Notification frequency:

    • None

    • Daily

    • Weekly

    • Biweekly

    • Monthly

  • Trigger condition:

    • Any change

    • Indexed pages

    • Non-indexed pages

    • Non-indexed domains

Email notification settings

Emails are sent to your account email address and list the projects where changes occurred, along with the number of:

  • Indexed Pages

  • Non Indexed Pages

  • Non Indexed Domains

Each number is clickable and takes you directly to the related entries in the Changelog.

Usage report

Automatic rechecks are reflected in the Usage Report, where you can see how many credits have been consumed, with a breakdown by project and reporting period. This helps you forecast credit needs and adjust recheck frequency.
