IndexCheckr can automatically recheck your pages and notify you by email when changes are detected. These features help you monitor indexing status without manual effort.

When adding pages (manually, via CSV, or from a sitemap) you can set a recheck frequency:

You can change the recheck frequency later: for one page with Edit in its actions menu, or for many pages at once with Change recheck frequency in the Actions menu of the Pages Report.

Each recheck consumes one credit per page. Rechecks continue until you disable them or run out of credits, or until the page is indexed if Stop checking when pages get indexed is enabled. When you run out of credits, rechecks resume as soon as you top up.

When you add pages, you can ask to be notified by email once all the pages of that batch have been checked. This is handy for large imports.

In the Settings section, you can receive regular emails about indexing status changes. Choose both the Frequency and the Send when condition:

💡 Tip: To feed status changes into your own tools instead of email, use the changelog endpoint of the IndexCheckr API.

Automatic rechecks are reflected in the Usage Report, where you can see how many credits your rechecks use each month, with a breakdown by project and recheck frequency. This helps you forecast credit needs and adjust recheck frequency.

Automatic rechecks keep your indexing data up to date, and email notifications tell you about the changes that matter to you, on your schedule.
