Connecting IndexCheckr to indexer tools

Learn how to connect your IndexCheckr account to an indexer tool.

Updated this week

IndexCheckr enables you to connect your account to third-party indexer tools, allowing you to submit pages for indexing directly from your projects. This is optional but useful if you want to act on non-indexed pages.

To connect an indexer:

  1. Go to the Indexer section from the left-hand menu.

  2. Choose a supported indexer from the list.

  3. Enter your API key and any other required credentials.

  4. Choose how the project or campaign should be named on the indexer’s side using the Project name source dropdown:

    • Select Custom name to manually enter a name. This custom name will be used for all submissions across all IndexCheckr projects.

    • Select Use IndexCheckr project name to automatically use the name of each individual IndexCheckr project when submitting pages.

  5. If supported, you can also set a drip feed to control the rate at which the indexer processes URLs.

Click the Connect button to finalize the setup. You can disconnect or change indexers at any time.

Once connected, you’ll be able to submit pages to it from the Projects Overview or Pages Report.

Each indexer has its own rules, behavior, settings, and pricing. IndexCheckr simply passes the URLs to the connected service. For details on how projects, campaigns, or drip feed work, refer to the documentation provided by the indexer tool itself.
