Projects Overview: Monitor all your projects at a glance

Learn how to use the Projects Overview in IndexCheckr to manage projects, track indexing status, and recheck or submit a whole project at once.

The Projects Overview is the first screen you see after logging in. It lists all your projects in a table, giving you a high-level view of your indexing performance across sites, clients or campaigns.

Projects Overview

Each row represents a project and shows the following columns:

  • Project: the project name. Click it to open the project's Pages Report

  • Pages: the number of pages in the project

  • Page Indexed: pages confirmed as indexed by Google

  • Page Not Indexed: pages confirmed as not indexed

  • Domain Not Indexed: how many of your pages sit on a root domain that returned no results at all in Google — a site-wide problem rather than a single-page one. A project with 500 pages on one un-indexed domain counts as 500 here, not 1.

  • Pending: pages still waiting to be checked

  • Creation Date

  • Last Checked Date: the date of the most recent page check

  • Sitemaps: the number of associated sitemaps

  • Status

  • Actions menu

The page counts also show their percentage of the project. Click any column header to sort the table by that column.

The Sitemaps column shows how many XML sitemaps are linked to the project. Clicking this number opens the Sitemap Management view, where you can add, remove, or configure sitemap import settings and recheck periods.

The Status can be:

  • in progress: some pages are being checked right now

  • recurring: no check is happening now, but some or all pages are set for periodic rechecks

  • checked: all pages have been checked and none are set for rechecks

  • No Pages Added: the project is empty

If you run out of credits while pages are waiting to be checked, the status shows a buy credits link instead.

Project actions menu

Project action menu

The Actions menu of each project lets you:

  • Recheck all pages: check every page in the project now (this uses one credit per page)

  • Recheck non-indexed pages: check only the pages that are not indexed, to save credits

  • Submit non-indexed pages to the indexer: send all Page not indexed pages to your indexer. Pages with the status Domain not indexed are not submitted from here. This action is only available once you’ve connected an indexer – see Connecting IndexCheckr to indexer tools

  • Edit: change the project name or description

  • Delete: delete the project (deleted projects cannot be recovered)

The recheck actions are unavailable while a project is in progress.

Search, starred projects and export

At the top of the table, you'll find a Search Projects field to quickly find a project by name.

You can also star projects by clicking the star icon at the start of each row. The star icon beside the search field filters the view to show only starred projects.

The buttons at the top of the page let you:

  • Add project: create a new project (see Setting up your first project)

  • Export to CSV: download the table of all your projects for reporting or backup purposes

💡 Tip: To check a list of URLs once without creating a project, use Quick Check.

Summary

The Projects Overview gives you a quick, actionable snapshot of your indexing efforts and recheck activity across all projects.
